New York Pasta Garden: Reviews & Ratings
My friend picked out this place. It's located a couple blocks off of Duval Street. It's a classic Italian restaurant with your favorite dishes. The wine list was quite impressive for a small establishment. I chose a bottle of the Amarone from Italy. Superb! Our waiter, Fillip, from Montenegro was excellent. He was very attentive, friendly, funny and efficient. The food... Absolutely delicious. I'm a huge meatball connoisseur and these did not disappoint. They fell apart in your mouth and the sauce was delectable. I've included a lot of photos of the different dishes as there were five of us. The pasta is al dente and all of the sauces were savory, buttery and creamy. The chicken piccata was amazing and I could cut it with a fork. I highly suggest this hidden treasure!
Myself and three friends dined at New York Pasta Garden during our spring break trip to Key West in March and absolutely loved it! Our server was Donna and she made our dining experience wonderful. She made us laugh, gave great menu recommendations and was very quick to seat us! The food was excellent, the service was quick and they had lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. The prices were affordable and the portion sizes were huge! I got a glass of their Riesling and it was one of my favorites I’ve ever had. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Italian food and a fun dining experience in Key West!
Went here for dinner with 2 others. Ordered the Penne Ala Vodka pasta which was delicious. I wouldn’t say it was worth $24 though. The others I were with didn’t enjoy their meals as much (chicken parmigiana and pasta primavera). The prices are expensive so be prepared to spend at least $100 if you have 3 or more people. They gave large portion sizes for the others I was with but the Penne Ala Vodka was smaller. Also, they added gratuity to our bill so beware of that. One of the staff was starting conversations with tables and the seating area is close together so you can hear basically all conversations going on. It was kind of awkward, you have to talk quiet unless you want everyone to hear if you are seated inside. The waitress took a while to give us the bill which was annoying. I probably wouldn’t come here again considering the small inside seating area, prices are too high, and the service.
This place was amazing; this is my first time in Key West, and my wife and I wanted a nice meal; Italian sounded good. The outdoor seating was great, and really added to the ambiance. Fletcher was the best, and made us feel like old regulars who had been coming there for years. The food was delicious, the portions plentiful, and we never had an empty glass or plate sitting in front of us. Definitely recommend for a great experience. We enjoyed the breaded artichoke appetizer, the tortellini al forno, and the lasagna.
The food was fantastic, no complaints from our party of 12. However the service was slow getting all of our orders, a few were forgotten and had to ask to put their order in, and when it came to check out it took over 40 minutes for them to figure out how to divvy up our bills. Even after explaining which dishes go to which couple. Would rather of gone to either the sushi place or the grille, both which had more tables filled than our pretty empty italian restaurant.
The reviews did not disappoint. Small and quaint like a cafe in Italy. The lasagna was amazing. The bread and olive oil with fresh garlic, amazing caesar salad, veal picatta, and wine we're all on point. Phillip was our server and was accommodating and attentive. Definitely 10/10.
